Be smart and don’t take chances. This seems very opposite to what Local Sprouts typically is about. But when it comes to HIV and AIDS, this is sage advice. Uganda was the first African nation to tackle HIV/AIDS and it continues to do so with the help of governmental organisations, international organisations and passionate individuals, but the fight is not over. We all have a part to play. At the end of the day, it is up to everyone to know their status, talk to their partners, friends and family about HIV/AIDS and for a greater community conversation to get started to help put an end to HIV and the stigma attached to it.
